DFV Wedge Hypothesis Down-Selection

Score each wedge hypothesis for Desirability, Feasibility and Viability using the same fourteen criteria and dropdown descriptions as the workbook. Weights multiply the 1–5 scores; the chart places every idea by desirability (up) against feasibility plus viability (right).

Scoring workbook

Criteria and helper text stay pinned on the left; hypotheses scroll left to right. Pick the description that fits — each one maps to a 1–5 score, multiplied by the weight.

Weighted score = raw score (1–5) × weight. Desirability impact sums the five desirability rows; Feasibility + Viability sums the other nine. Total is the sum of all fourteen.

Bubble size is total score. Axes run to the maximum attainable under the current weights, so re-weighting moves the goalposts, not just the bubbles. Hover a bubble for the readout.

Finish in Google Sheets

  1. In the new sheet choose File → Import → Upload and pick the file that just downloaded.
  2. Set the import location to Replace spreadsheet.
  3. Click Import data. Formulas, ranks and the scoring dropdowns all come across, so the sheet stays live.
